Shipping Policy for CraftedGlimmer

At CraftedGlimmer, each piece of jewellery is a testament to unique craftsmanship and heartfelt sentiment. Because your jewellery is custom-made to order by our production partners, our shipping process involves two main stages: Production Time and Shipping Time.

Please review our shipping policy to understand how your beautiful order makes its way to you or your loved one.


1. Production Time (Made-to-Order)

  • All our jewellery is made-to-order, meaning it is crafted specifically for you once your order is placed. This allows us to maintain exceptional quality and offer personalized designs.

  • Standard Production Time: Please allow 2-5 business days for your order to be carefully crafted and prepared for shipment.

  • Peak Seasons: During peak holiday seasons (e.g., Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Christmas) or promotional events, production times may extend slightly due to higher demand. We recommend ordering early during these periods.


2. Shipping Time & Estimated Delivery

Once your order has completed the production phase, it will be shipped directly from our production partners.

  • South Africa (Local Orders):

    • Estimated Delivery: After production, orders typically arrive within 3-7 business days.

    • Shipping Carrier: We partner with reputable local carriers to ensure reliable delivery.

  • USA (International Orders):

    • Estimated Delivery: After production, international orders to the USA typically arrive within 5-10 business days.

    • Shipping Carrier: Orders are shipped via international postal services (e.g., USPS, DHL e-commerce) or their partners for final delivery.

  • Total Estimated Delivery Time (Production + Shipping):

    • South Africa: 5-12 business days

    • USA: 7-15 business days

  • Please Note: These are estimated delivery times. While we strive for timely delivery, actual delivery can be influenced by factors such as customs processing, national holidays, and unforeseen carrier delays. We cannot guarantee exact delivery dates.


3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order's destination and the selected shipping method (if multiple options are available).

  • Standard Shipping:

  • Shipping Strategy Recommendation: For jewellery, offering free standard shipping and incorporating the average shipping cost into your product prices often leads to higher conversion rates, especially for gift items. If you choose this, state: "We are pleased to offer FREE standard shipping on all orders to both South Africa and the USA!"


4. Order Tracking

  • Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number.

  • Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become active after you receive your shipping confirmation.


5. Customs, Duties & Taxes (for USA / International Orders)

  • For US Customers: Orders shipped to the USA are generally not subject to customs duties or import taxes for purchases under a certain value (currently $800 USD) under de minimis rules. Your purchase price includes any applicable sales tax, but no additional duties are expected for typical jewellery orders.

  • For Other International Customers (if you expand beyond USA/SA): Please be aware that customs duties, taxes, or import fees may be levied by your country's customs department upon arrival. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in your purchase price or shipping cost. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information.


6. Incorrect Shipping Address

  • Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses.

  • If you notice an error in your shipping address, please contact us immediately at guestgraphics.2.0@gmail.com within 1 hour of placing your order. We will do our best to correct it before the order enters production. Once an order has shipped, we cannot change the address.


7. Lost or Stolen Packages

  • If your tracking shows your package was delivered but you haven't received it, please check with neighbors or your local post office.

  • If your package is confirmed lost by the shipping carrier, please contact us at guestgraphics.2.0@gmail.com. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and arrange for a replacement or refund as per our Return & Refund Policy.
